E&G's English Language Programs, the essence of all knowledge and skills in a field of English education are the outcome of the extensive theoretical study and practical experience in English Language Teaching for more than 10 years since its inception in 2006.
What's different in E&G? Including TOEIC, IELTS and Business English texts, all books in E&G are newest and most updated.
Learning methods and strategies in old and new books cannot be the same because more and more effective ways are developed everyday. E&G's R&D department has been solely responsible for keeping track of the new trend in English education and blending it with our own English education contents.
New teachers become E&G teachers through the following steps. First, new teachers are supposed to complete intensive training courses for teachers (GRAMMAR, PRONUNCIATION and SPEAKING), employed from CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH, and they are provided with the TEACHING GUIDES and learn how to understand and make good use of them in dealing with the textbooks, and then practice to plan and design their own classes.
TEACHING GUIDES generally explain about how to deliver the contents of E&G's textbooks and precisely concern standardized teaching skills and strategies needed in the classroom. It means that teachers provide classes in accordance with TEACHING GUIDES and so E&G can improve and control the quality of classes.
After presenting a few DEMO classes and have the final feedback, they can finally be assigned actual classes. Each of new teachers is encouraged to continue TEAM BASED LEARNING for mastery of class subjects in ESL, TOEIC/Business English, and IELTS teams on a regular basis.
English language serves its purpose in communication and more than 2 respective English skills (SPEAKING, READING, LISTENING and WRITING) are to be employed in the process of the communication. In this sense, E&G's curriculum aims to help students develop well-balanced English skills by providing the personalized English language program to each of students. This is why E&G exert every effort to evaluate students' English abilities as precisely as possible. English prescription for each student needs precise diagnosis!
E&G's Level System maps to CEFR and evaluates students' English abilities with 6 levels in 3 bands as CEFR does so, and which is why E&G Levels can directly be compared with the levels of CEFR or the scores of other English proficiency test like TOEIC, TOEFL and IELTS.
